Ministry Statement
The goal of 242 Student Ministries is to lead every teenager to believe in Jesus Christ for eternal life; that they would bond with other believers, being built up in their faith through the Word of God causing them to break out in passionate service while bringing forth honor to God’s name.
Who We Are
Acts 2:42 (NKJV) “And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread and in prayers.”
It is from this scripture we draw our ministry purpose and goal. It is in the apostles’ doctrines that we find the most real depictions of Jesus, after all they had been the ones closest to him throughout his ministry. Each Wednesday as we join together for a time of worship and hearing from God’s Word it is our desire that each high schooler would enjoy fellowship, a time of prayer, sometimes food, but most importantly a time of study from which we hope each person gains insight into who the God of the Bible is and what he has in store for their life. It is also our desire to see these students grow in spiritual maturity and become active members of our church and leadership pointing others to Jesus.
